Ever since early childhood I helped my mom in the kitchen. One ingredient I remember helping with, sofrito, a main Latin seasoning base which when completed left an intoxicating aroma. I'd prepare it by grinding garlic with orégano and adobo in el pilón.
My passion for great Latin cooking and years dreaming of memorializing my family's cooking recipes led me on a journey to do just that. I finally sat down, colaborated with my parents to share many memories through many recipes culminating in my first of 4 Eris' Kitchen cookbooks SABROSURAS BORICUAS.
